Fibroid Tumors

This is a subject that is usually ignored or given little to no attention, yet it is an issue if not a problem that many women are battling with on a daily basis. I also feel that doctors are too quick to operate and there are way to many hysterectomies than necessary so i decided to share the little i know about Fibroid tumors. They are benign growths found in the uterus, outside or in the wall of the uterus. Fibroid tumors range in size and can be as big as a mango. Some women who have fibroids can even sometimes look like they are 6-8 months pregnant. The fibroids are not painful in the beginning so it is difficult to even know that you have them but as they grow the woman’s monthly periods begin to become very painful and cause intense contractions (cramps) and their periods are usually very heavy (for this you should take your iron tablets and food rich in iron spinach, collard greens and anchovies and my favorites). They also can sometimes lead to ‘temporary infertility’ I say temporary because they can be dissolved and sometimes if removed through surgery but please AVOID the Hysterectomy unless you have exhausted all other options. Please!!! There are several natural herbs that can be used to reduce the size or dissolve fibroids, some women use acupuncture to relax their muscles since some women have to constantly deal with fatigue, mood swings, dizziness and feel weak. Any woman who has fibroids should either stay away from dairy products or just reduce your intake if you cannot stay away from it but it best to stay away from dairy products. Reduce alcohol intake or do away with it completely if you can instead drink a lot of water, fresh juice and tea and you can add cinnamon or ginger to your teas, eat your vegetables and fruits and try and incorporate rhubarb, capsicum, cayenne pepper, wild yam and beets in your daily diet. Exercise but if you do not like to exercise try walking to as many places as possible and use the stairs instead of escalators of lifts some women like to do yoga or Pilates. Avoid greasy and fatty foods and red meat as well. There are a lot of herbal remedies out there but unfortunately I cannot recommend any as of yet but I will if decide to used some. These health tips apply to women with endometriosis as well.  Remember your body is your temple.J

Cleansing your Colons

This is very important and helps get rid of all those toxins that have built up over time in your body due to poor diet so to cleanse it you will have to stop that poor diet and adapt a healthier one. It’s not as difficult as some people make it out to be. You can easily do it by simply eating healthier and natural foods. Examples are all green leafy vegetables either raw or slightly cooked, fresh fruits and nuts(nuts in moderation). If you must have flour then replace white flour with brown flour, white pasta with brown pasta and white rice with brown rice for starters. Of course fruits, beans and nuts are very good for you as well, but No red meat absolutely none. I know most of you guys are going like ‘WHAT’ but nobody said changing your diet would be without sacrifice and without some discipline just see it as adapting a new healthy living lifestyle. You can still eat fish and chicken to start with. Do not fry foods, bake them or steam them there are loads of great recipes out their on the internet so you will have no excuse in the area of preparation. Don’t forget your grains, beans and fruits. Berries are very good for you blue, rasp, strawberries, apples and grapefruit as well as melons. Tip you can make a honey and water melon salad but you should not be mix melons with other fruits. You can also take enemas or herbal laxatives but before you do so ‘PLEASE’ research the different types and the side effects and how to use them but you will definitely have to use these enemas in moderation. I strongly recommend the two books in this section that have wonderful recipes, explanations on the why, how to and the dos and don’ts. They also teach and guide you much more than just cleansing but the entire journey to healing yourself through prayer, fasting and food. So don’t procrastinate you can start changing your life now. Take baby steps, do it slowly and gradually it is after all a life change not a diet or trial and era, short-term thing but a life change. Slow and Sure Wins the Race. Good Luck!
